The AMSA Voice

Era Kalaja
Era, a freshman, is writing for The AMSA Voice for the first time. She hopes to further understand what it really means to be a part of a newspaper staff. Although she aspires to enter the political field when she’s older, she knows that writing for, and reading, a newspaper will be valuable, keeping her informed with what’s happening around the world.

Era also plays for the varsity soccer team, varsity track and field team, and participates in dance outside of school. Additionally, Era is a member of AMSA’s student government, speech and debate team, and mentoring program. She is very involved in the AMSA community and loves to help others. She works to be ambitious every day and is constantly setting different goals for herself.
