AMSA’s boys varsity basketball team made a halftime adjustment to its zone defense and the Eagles held Blackstone Millville to just 14 second-half points in a 47-36 victory on Wednesday.
AMSA, which trailed by six at the half, took a slim one-point lead into the fourth quarter, but Zach Meyer scored 11 of his game-high 21 points in the final period to keep the Eagles safe.
Jayden Dummett added 16 points for the Eagles (5-6 overall), who bounced back from a blowout loss to Assabet on Tuesday.
