The AMSA Voice

Asha Ramachandran

Asha Ramachandran, Staff writer

Asha is a sophomore and has attended AMSA since the 6th grade. She is a resident of Marlborough and, in her spare time, enjoys running long distance, creative writing, and–of course–talking politics. Asha is a member of AMSA’s varsity cross country team, indoor track and field team, and varsity outdoor track and field team. She enjoys the quietude that accompanies running: the crunching sound of her steps over the forest floor, the sheen on her skin under the glare of streetlights, and the cool breeze of shivering trees and her teammates pushing her to the limit.

Asha writes to empower herself and others, to cultivate her passions through rich language and critical thinking. Her passions manifest during heated political debates at the dinner table and cozy nights settled in with a good book. Above all, Asha is committed to spreading a message for diversity and positive change and she is looking forward to reaching out to the student body through her writing and making valuable contributions to The AMSA Voice.
