Matthew is a senior who has attended AMSA since 6th grade, and this is his first year writing for The AMSA Voice. He is part of the National Honor Society. He is very passionate about reading, writing, and history. This is evidenced by the fact that he has taken AP Literature, is currently taking AP Language, and can name every president of the United States from memory. 

Matthew hopes to contribute positively to The AMSA Voice and learn more about journalistic writing. As a very firm believer in free speech and a free press, Matthew is honored to contribute to the AMSA community through The AMSA Voice.

In his limited spare time, Matthew enjoys hanging out with friends, creative writing, playing video games, and debating. He is affectionately called “MMR” by some of his friends.
