Sameera is a senior, and it is her second year writing for The Voice. She is excited to continue her journey with journalism. Sameera loves to watch movies and shows in her free time, her favorites being Sherlock Holmes, The Blacklist, and No Country for Old Men.

She also likes to spend her free time composing and practicing piano pieces. She believes Liszt’s Un Sospiro is the most beautiful piano piece.

This is Sameera’s fifth year on the AMSA girls varsity tennis team, and she is excited to be a co-captain this year. She thoroughly enjoys watching tennis as well. She is also a proud member of Spanish NHS. Outside of school, her most memorable accomplishment was achieving her second degree black belt in taekwondo. 

Sameera loves to spend time gaming with her friends, and she is heavily obsessed with Red Dead Redemption 2. She also enjoys traveling and has been to five countries and 16 states. She wishes to go to all states and visit most countries, her favorite being France.
