Eagles cruise in home opener

MARLBOROUGH—AMSA’s baseball team routed North Brookfield 24-0 on Monday in its home opener. The Eagles (3-2) scored a staggering 15 runs in the first inning and cruised from there.

Matt Delgenio had two hits and four RBI for AMSA, while his brother, Mike, added two hits and three RBI. Matt went the distance for the win (the game was called after five innings), allowing just one hit while striking out eight.

Ryan Dean contributed two hits and Dylan Holm knocked in two for the Eagles, who play today at Marian in Framingham.
