Catie Scott, Sports editor
Catie is a senior this year, and it is her first year as a writer for The AMSA Voice. She has attended AMSA since the 6th grade, and she is excited to make writing for The Voice another way in which she stays involved in the school community. She is a co-president of the school’s UNICEF club, an English tutor, a member of the Spanish Honor Society, and she also starts for the girls’ varsity lacrosse team.
Outside of school, Catie has a multitude of hobbies. She plays multiple instruments, including the piano, guitar, and banjo, and when she isn’t playing, she can be found going on long runs with her dog, Maggie, or curling up with a good book in her living room.
Catie is particularly interested in writing, and she is planning to study English literature and journalism in college next year. She hopes that by writing for the AMSA Voice, she will not only become a better, more refined writer, but she will also gain experience for what she hopes will be her future career.
