Heavy fog and ice across central Massachusetts led to a two-hour delay for AMSA on Tuesday, as well as a slow commute. A winter advisory was in effect in Marlborough until 9 a.m.

“It will continue to warm into the 50s today ahead of a cold front as heavy rain moves in,” reported Boston’s Channel 25.

The advisory also cautioned that the area could experience periods of freezing rain and that roads and sidewalks would remain slippery and dangerous throughout the morning and early afternoon.
